Peanut harvest is mostly complete. Overall, yields are excellent. Cotton harvest is about 85 percent complete. Yields have ranged from around 500 lbs. early to over two bales in later planted fields. Average county yield is running around 850 lbs. Scattered rains in late October slowed the cotton harvest. Some areas received as much as 3-4 inches with most areas totaling 1 inch or less.
