Using Content Management Systems to Generate Presentations Automatically

This site illustrates several techniques for:

1> Using new tools to create content that is stored in a content management system, and then

2> Automatically creating presentations from this content in a variety of styles and formats.

Content managers are database management systems designed to store content in a generic and highly organized fashion. Content can take the form of text, images, graphics, photographs, animations, sound, and video, and also individual concepts such as words and phrases, rules, and even mathematical equations.

Content, what we know, is purposely separated from presentation, how we say it. By using a content manager, content is more easily shared, reused, reassembled, indexed, and archived.
